Tonight (Jan. 9) at 8 PM, get your fill of explosions, towering monsters and the sweeping power of apocalyptic weather in one unlikely location–the classic Proctors theater. They’ll be hosting the most powerful Hollywood special effects this Friday, using more pyrotechnics than any touring theater show. So intense, in fact, that you and your fellow audience members will be protected by bullet proof glass for some demonstrations. The effects professionals on stage have been behind the scenes on some massive productions such as The Dark Knight Rises, Guardians of The Galaxy, Phantom of The Opera and Game of Thrones and show highlights include a Japanese animatronic dinosaur and an air cannon that fires projectiles 1,500 feet. Prepare yourself.
A show worth a drive
