Tonight at The Tang: See The Invisible

Tonight at The Tang: See The Invisible

It’s a celebration of music in celebration of art. Immerse yourself in the art of the Tang while composer, guitarist, singer, and bandleader Howard Fishman performs a “musical response” to a few selections from the museum collection. He will be joined by Osei Essed, Dina Maccabee and James Harrison Monaco–the three members of his touring company. The selected works that served as the artists’ inspiration will include photographs by Diane Arbus, Garry Winogrand, and N. Jay Jaffee; cityscapes by Joseph Pennell and Jessie Tarbox Beals; portraits by Mike Disfarmer and a 1907 mug shot photo.
