Tonight, Nov. 16 at 7PM, head to The Linda in Albany for the latest installment in their Food for Thought series. In this documentary, follow the journey of two African-American scientists who are trying to get the best view of the 2012 solar eclipses in “Black Suns: An Astrophysics Adventure.” Dr. Alphonse Sterling and Dr. Hakeem Oluseyi, stationed in Japan and Australia respectively, attempt to learn more about the sun by getting up close and personal to these eclipses through the use of high-tech telescopes and equipment. Will one of their devices fail? Or will a something as simple as a cloud block their view of the eclipse?
