Science Festival of the Capital Region at MiSci

Is your kid a lover of STEM? Want them to have the opportunity to be surrounded by like-minded thinkers, who nerd out at the thought of talking about science just as much as your kid does? Head to the six-day Science Festival of the Capital Region at Schenectady’s MiSci by 6 PM. All are encouraged to join a screening of District 9 and panel featuring several UAlbany professors and a biologist from the New York Natural Heritage Program. The workshops focus on a variety of sciences, like being placed in the position of mission control during an expedition to Mars, learning about how to integrate environmental protection in schools, 3D printing, playing games to learn about physics and math, etc. The headlining performer is AudioBody, a comedy group who combines entertainment with modern-day technology.
