Tonight at 7 PM, local artists of the Albany music scene will gather at The Low Beat in Albany to perform a Hurricane Harvey relief show benefitting the victims of the recent disaster. All money raised from the suggest donations of $10 at the door will go to the Galveston County Food Bank (pictured above) to provide direct assistance to Texas residents in need of food and other basic necessities. If you’ve already packed your schedule for this happening Friday night but would still like to help those in need, visit the Go Fund Me site to donate to the food bank.
Still want to enjoy the tunes from tonight’s show? Check out the local artists’ compilation of their rare and/or unreleased tracks on Bandcamp: From 518 to 409. The smooth and soothing set of songs are available on a name-your-price basis and all download proceeds go towards Hurricane Harvey relief funds.
Whichever way you choose to support this worthy cause, stop by tonight to catch a great set of musicians performing in solidarity with those in need.
