Tonight: “She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry” – Film and Discussion

The 2014 documentary She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry examines the women’s liberation movement in the ‘60s, a time that might seem well worth revisiting in light of the Women’s March and the continued struggle over reproductive rights; The New Yorker described it as “stirring and informative.” The filmmaker, Mary Dore, will introduce the screening tonight at 6:45PM, which will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by New York State Assemblywoman Patricia Fahy.

The event is free and open to the public.
