Despite their significant sonic differences, Prince Daddy & the Hyena and Jouska have been the dynamic duo of the Albany indie/punk scene throughout the past year. The two have toured across the country together, shared an album release show and rocked countless DIY spots throughout Albany–fostering a unique draw of fans that pulls from all corners of the Capital Region punk scene. On Friday, the two will take the Takk House in Troy alongside the post-punky Eternal Crimes (featuring John Gill of The Black Ships) and I Feel Okay, which is the side venture of P Daddy bassist Zakariya Houacine. Residents of Troy who haven’t yet made the trek to check these acts in their usual Albany haunts should not pass up this opportunity.
